Is it free?

Yes. The first 100,000 reports are free for everyone with no account, signup, or card required. After that, 5 tests per IP address per day stay free indefinitely. This is written into the terms as permanent policy.

What counts as a good spam score?

On the classic SpamAssassin scale, a good score is below 5 since the score is a total of penalties and lower is better. The proprietary 0-100 score reads the way people expect where higher is better, and weights authentication and infrastructure more heavily than the classic scale.

How long does the test address last?

The disposable test address takes exactly one message and expires one hour after you reserve it. However, the report link does not expire, so you can return to it or share it with others who own the DNS.

Can other people read my report?

Anyone holding the report link can read it, and the report shows the subject, sender, bounce address and full source of the message. You should treat the link as private and not test somebody else's mail without asking them first.

How is this different from other spam checkers?

It provides two scores instead of one so the classic SpamAssassin number is available for comparison while the proprietary score covers Gmail and Yahoo bulk sender rules, link reputation and one-click unsubscribe. Every warning cites the RFC section it rests on, and the fix plan recomputes points by scoring the corrected message rather than estimating.
