How do I claim and verify my listing?

Take ownership of your listing by proving control of your company domain, and receive the Verified badge.

Updated

Claim your listing

Start at your listing page and select "Claim", or navigate directly to /claim/<listing>. You'll need to prove you control the company's web domain by choosing one of these routes:

  • Email verification: we'll send a link to an address at your domain
  • DNS TXT record: add a record to your root domain
  • Homepage meta tag: place a tag on your website's homepage
  • Verification file: upload a small file to your website

Pick whichever route fits your access level. Your verification code is valid for 14 days; if it expires, you'll start the process again.

What claiming gets you

Once verified, you become the listing owner. This means you can edit the listing details and receive the Verified badge—a clear marker that you control the domain behind it.

The badge stays with the listing and never changes hands. It exists separately from any paid placement or community votes; it simply confirms domain ownership. Verification is about authenticity, not visibility.
