What does my founder profile need before my listing can go live?

Your listing waits at the founder-profile checkpoint until your profile at /account/founder is complete, and then it moves on by itself.

Updated

Think of your founder profile as a checkpoint on the route. You can draft, submit and pay for a listing, but it cannot go live or be scheduled until the owner's profile is finished.

What the profile needs

Open /account/founder and fill in each of these:

  • Your photo, plus a single line describing what the photo shows
  • Your full name
  • Your title or role
  • Your country
  • A bio running to 80 characters or more
  • A personal link: your own website or personal social profile. Company pages do not count, and you need one link minimum

Your city and a link to your founder story are optional extras.

When a listing is held

If the profile is incomplete, the listing shows as waiting for founder profile. Nothing is lost while it waits. As soon as you complete the profile, the listing is released automatically.

What happens to the schedule depends on the week you paid for:

  • A paid week still ahead of you is kept.
  • If that week has already gone by, a paid listing goes live this week.
  • A free listing goes live in the next free-queue week.

We tell you whichever applies.

Adding co-founders

Use the Team section of /account/founder to invite co-founders. Each one shows on the product after finishing their own profile.

Questions people ask

Do I lose my paid week if my profile is unfinished?
No. A paid week that is still ahead is kept. If it has already passed, a paid listing goes live this week, and we let you know.
Which details can I leave out?
Your city and a founder story link are optional. Everything else on the list is needed.
Why is my co-founder not shown on the product?
Co-founders appear only once their own profile is complete, so ask them to finish it.
